One Book One Putnam (OBOP) encourages reading by all of our residents. One Book One Putnam is an initiative designed to encourage reading throughout Putnam County by creating common experiences that cross the geographic, social, and economic boundaries in the county. All events and activities are free and open to the public, please join us! It is a completely volunteer organization.

The Putnam County Library System partners with the One Book One Putnam Committee every year to coordinate book discussions, special guests, and other related programs at our local libraries. Copies of the reading selection are available at each branch library in hardcover, large print and on audio CD.
The Putnam County Library Board, Inc., acts as the fiscal agent for OBOP. Tax-deductable contributions are always welcome and much appreciated. Checks should be made payable to the Putnam County Library Board, Inc.
